On February 23th 2017, the Kansas City Chapter of COMTO held it’s 4th Annual Meeting/Membership Drive. The event was held at the East Patrol Police Station Community Room in Kansas City, MO. The purpose of this event was to emphasize the importance of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials for people of color, women, and all disadvantaged people/communities/businesses working in the transportation industry. Also, this meeting detailed the opportunities that are available for DBEs, primes, transportation agencies, individuals, students, and municipal governments.
